The Wolves X Grain and Knot: The Work Dungarees M.
The Wolves has teamed up with Grain and Knot to produce a range of paired offerings. A vintage workwer piece, chosen for its history and signs of use in manual labour, with a hand carved form to fit into a pocket. Each pairing is unique, and the embroidery motifs draw from the shapes and forms of Sophie’s carving, as well as the dried grasses found in both our studios, in the tones of the beautiful storm fallen woods that she uses.
The Work Dungarees are a gorgeous pair of French moleskin fabric work overalls, much patched and mended in beautiful blue tones. Please note that the clasps don’t work and the straps must be tied to fasten them.
They have hand embroidery to the front of motifs found in Sophie’s studio: a hand carved loop, a sketched loop, wild dried grasses. They are extra special so they come with a pair of hand carved items: a brush made from Spalted Hornbeam and Tampico, and a loop in contrasting Walnut, to keep in your pocket, use or display.
They have a hand carved button to one side.
