The L is the darker wash. The XL is more faded and similar to the original. This has a couple of marks to front and back please check photos. Gorgeous fade. Both great condition. Both measure 29 in length top collar to hem.

Shown: The most beautiful vintage workwear jacket in a rich blue fade, incredibly soft, with mismatched vintage buttons.
Made after an evening boat trip to see Strombolis volcano Iddu erupting as night fell, a completely magical experience.
The front features a long coastal grass in night colours, the back a landscape of the volcano and night sky, seen from the sea.

This is worn to super softness, and has the associated wear and tear, especially one sleeve with some fraying and small rips.
The Volcano Collection draws from two trips to the Isle Eolie, a chain of small volcanic islands to the north of Sicily. They are magical places, some so small they have no roads or cars, just solitude, purity and quiet. The stars are bright, the air is clean, the water blue. On Stromboli, the rocks are black and Iddu, the active volcano, spews lava every 20 minutes or so, best seen at night from a small boat, its a wondrous thing to behold.
