The Wolves X Grain and Knot: Duo.
The Wolves has teamed up with Grain and Knot to produce a range of paired offerings. A vintage workwer piece, chosen for its history and signs of use in manual labour, with a hand carved form to fit into a pocket. Each pairing is unique, and the embroidery motifs draw from the shapes and forms of Sophie’s carving, as well as the dried grasses found in both our studios, in the tones of the beautiful storm fallen woods that she uses.
A pair of pieces for the home:
A hand embroidered artwork on fabric from the leg of a pair of work trousers, for framing or hanging as is, paired with a hand carved Cedar wood loop, for carrying in a pocket or for display.
The embroidery shows motifs from Sophie’s studio: a corned Hornbeam loop, a Walnut loop, a hand carved vase and a delicate dried grass stem.
